About the circuit

The Anneau du Rhin, also known as the Rhine Ring, is located approximately 1.5 km east of Biltzheim in the Haut-Rhin department, France. The permanent racing and test track is used for various motorsport events such as races, club sports events, track days and presentations. Marc Rinaldi planned and built the race track in 1996 on the site of a former hunting reserve. Today it is managed by his son Francois Rinaldi.

The route was expanded to include a western loop in 2004 and completely resurfaced in August 2011, widening it by one meter. Since 2013, a 3.7 km long variant has been available as an option for motorcycles, which can be extended to up to 4 km if necessary.

In 2022, one of the most important racing series, the FIA-WTCR, took place at the Anneau du Rhin.
