Help & FAQ

Answers to common questions about Mylaptimes.

How do I record a lap time?

Register for free, pick your circuit, and enter your time – including vehicle, tyres, weather, and other details. Your laps stay organised in your garage and you can compare with other drivers.

Will MYLAPTIMES stay free?

Yes, MYLAPTIMES will remain free to use. We will offer paid subscriptions with extra features in the future – but core functionality stays free.

The automatically added weather data is incorrect or incomplete.

Weather data retrieval can fail, or the input (date, time, circuit) may have been wrong. Check these details on the affected lap – that is often where the issue lies.

Who can see my lap times?

You decide for each lap: public for everyone, followers only, or private for just you. You stay in control of who sees your times.

Do I need a lap timer or transponder?

No. You can enter your lap time manually – from a stopwatch, your paddock app, or circuit timing. MYLAPTIMES stores the time together with vehicle, tyres, weather, and other details.

Can I log motorcycle and car lap times?

Yes. Add as many vehicles as you like in your garage – bike, car, or both. When recording a lap, pick the right vehicle and keep all your times organised in one place.

How do I compare with other drivers?

Each circuit has leaderboards with the fastest times. Follow other drivers, see laps in your feed, and compare with friends – so you know where you stand and what's next.

Where do I find trackday events?

Under Events you'll find upcoming track days and race events – filterable by circuit, date, and organiser. We bring dates from different organisers together in one place, so you can plan your next track day and log your lap times on MYLAPTIMES right after.

Can I edit or delete a lap time later?

Yes. In your garage you'll find all your lap times. You can edit entries – time, vehicle, visibility, and more – or delete them if you made a mistake.
