About the circuit

The Slovakiaring is a motorsport racetrack in the municipality of Orechová Potôň in Slovakia, about 36 km from the capital Bratislava. The circuit was constructed between 2008 and 2009 and is the first purpose-built circuit in the country. Construction began in October 2008 and was officially opened on October 1, 2009, with the total cost being around 21.6 million euros.

The complex includes an off-road track (1.5 km long), a kart track (800 m) and a three-star hotel, which opened in 2011. The main racetrack features six left-handing and five right-handing corners, a chicane and seven straights. Six different route variants are possible, with lengths from 2.63 to 5.92 km. In 2018, an optional chicane was added after Turn 9 to prevent racing cars and motorcycles from taking off on the flyover, increasing the maximum track length to 5.935 km.
