About the circuit

The Autodrom Most is a permanent motorsport racing circuit near the town of Most in the Czech Republic, opened in 1983 as the first permanent racing circuit in Czechoslovakia. The route is located near the hilltop of Hněvín Castle, about 3 km west of the city center. Known for events such as the Czech Truck Grand Prix, the track has been developed over the years.

Originally, races have been held in Most since 1947 on various street circuits, even international races for the Interserie on the city highway. The permanent race track opened in 1983 with 11 right-hand and 19 left-hand turns. In 2005, the left-hand chicane after start/finish was replaced by a right/left corner combination, resulting in a lower average speed. In 2008, most of the route was extensively asphalted.

The track width is 12-14 m, it is driven in a clockwise direction and offers 12 right-hand and 9 left-hand bends. The route is homologated by the FIM for up to 39 motorcycles, with noise levels limited to 103 dB on normal days. The FIA has approved the track for touring cars, formula cars up to 3 liters (excluding Formula 1) and trucks, including kart racing.

The on-site infrastructure includes pits on the track, a gas station and a restaurant.
